HOW TO CONSULT THE DATA BANK
To view the information sheets and sightings use the "advanced
search" mask. Clicking on the appropriate icon for the various
fields displays the list of inserted items. From this list
you can choose (by double clicking) the item that interests
you. For example, to see which species have been recorded,
simply double click on the icon for the "classification"
field and a more detailed information sheet will be displayed
containing the various taxonomic groups. By double clicking
on the icon in the "class" field a list will be displayed
from which, after choosing the word "Aves" (double clicking
on that word) and starting the search, a list of species
of available birds will appear. For those who wish to understand
how the BIOMONF atlas is structured, you can consult the
almost completed information sheets for the taxonomic groups
Orchidaceae, Carabidae, Coleophoridae and Aves by simply
keying in these names in the "classification" field of the
Advanced Search mask. In addition, by keying in the name
of a town/village in the "Town/village" field, all the species
recorded in that specific area will be displayed.
